GTO's history and success is an example of the American Dream. Our founder purchased a home in historic Tallahassee, and during renovation he decided to install an automatic gate opener on his gate. He received quotes ranging from $3,000-$4,500. It was sticker shock that compelled him to design a reliable, affordable gate opener system that was both easy to install and could also be used in remote locations. In 1987,he successfully launched the Do-It-Yourself Automatic Gate Opener, Mighty Mule® and later he introduced the GTO/ACCESS Systems, GTO/PRO® brand of professional gate operators. GTO/ACCESS Systems, GTO/PRO® brand offers access control systems designed for most gate applications. GTO/ACCESS Systems, GTO/PRO® automatic gate openers are in demand for rural, urban, and other professional residential environments.
